House Hunters
In the Central American rain forest a pair of Pale-billed Woodpeckers are excavating a nest in an old tree, covered in Strangler Fig. From a leafy part of the tree, a pair of Fiery-billed Aracaris (small toucans) wait and watch. Toucans eat more than fruit and breakfast cereal. They love eggs and baby birds, and will enter other birds' nests to get them. In this case, however, they may want to take the hole for themselves once the work is done.
